The new EET law imposes an obligation on some companies to implement EET. This article is intended for those affected who also use Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta).
At this moment it appears Microsoft will not prepare an EET solution for its ERP system Dynamics AX. Each Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta) user must therefore arrange an EET solution on their own.
Although Electronic Sales Registration (EET) was approved by the Chamber of Deputies earlier, its technical specifications were published only recently. Blue Dynamic monitors everything around EET and we have prepared a ready-made EET solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The core technical part of EET is a central portal which, after proper registration and authentication, provides each entity with a unique identifier for every business transaction. The first step for every Dynamics AX operator is therefore to ensure online connectivity to this portal that provides the fiscal identification code.
The next step, which will also require modifications in Dynamics AX, is to ensure the received fiscal identification code is printed on all documents where the law requires it, especially on the receipt. Of course it is not only about printing the code but also storing it in the database.
The solution is further complicated by cases where the operator’s AX cannot connect online and obtain the fiscal code from the Financial Administration portal. Even then the tax document must be provided with the appropriate ID and everything must be reconciled with the EET portal once it becomes available again.

Our EET solution for Dynamics AX can be purchased as an Addon for Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 in our Addons and apps store for Dynamics – Addons.Blue.
Before starting sales registration, all entrepreneurs subject to the regime must request authentication credentials. “This is the first and important step towards sales registration (e-receipts). It is important that entrepreneurs do not leave their applications to the last minute,” emphasized Minister of Finance Andrej Babiš.
Entrepreneurs can request authentication data from 1 September 2016. “They or their authorized representatives can apply electronically via the Tax Portal, where the credentials will be delivered to their data mailbox, or in person at any local office of the financial administration, where they will receive them on the spot in a sealed envelope,” explained Deputy Minister of Finance for Taxes and Duties Alena Schillerová.
Using the obtained authentication data, the entrepreneur then logs into the EET web application. Before starting registration, they must fill in data for all business premises through which they perform activities generating registered sales. After entering the premises data, they can obtain a digital certificate in the application.
Who is affected by EET? From 1 Dec 2016 the accommodation and hospitality sector, from 1 Mar 2017 then retail and wholesale companies.
“Through this certificate the Financial Administration identifies the entrepreneur when sending data messages. The number of certificates depends on the entrepreneur’s needs and is entirely their decision,” added Alena Schillerová.
The certificate must be installed on the POS device through which the entrepreneur will register sales. Entrepreneurs can test the functionality of the POS device with the installed certificate from 1 November 2016.
