Using financial dimensions

Reporting company results by cost centers has been standard for many years. In modern ERP systems you can enrich a journal entry with a wide range of details such as Store, POS, Product group, Product, Supplier, and more. All these extra details, captured as financial dimensions of the journal entry, are then used by Management and Finance to track company health and by Sales and Purchasing to analyze data.
